Terms and Conditions for Bicycle and E-Bike Rental

1. General Provisions


Using a bicycle means acceptance of these terms and conditions.


Bicycles and e-bikes are provided for personal use only within the territory of Croatia.

2. Age and Documents


The minimum age of the renter is 18 years.


For minors, the presence of an adult is mandatory. Any minor client must have the consent of a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult. Parents, guardians, or accompanying adult clients are responsible for providing consent and ensuring the safety of the minor client in accordance with all legal requirements.
A valid passport or ID must be provided.

2.1 Personal Data Protection (GDPR)


In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR EU 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016), FastBike ensures the protection of all client information and the confidentiality of all our clients. FastBike collects, uses, and discloses only the information that is reasonably necessary to provide the specific service you have requested.
This information will not be disclosed to third parties, and in the event of a request by a third party, it will be provided only with your written consent.
Data may be deleted at your request, but only to the extent that this does not conflict with obligations arising from tax regulations, record-keeping legislation, and similar legal requirements.
By reviewing or signing these Terms, you confirm that you have been informed about the method of data collection, the scope of collected data, the use and processing of personal data, and that you agree to such processing.

3. Payment and Deposit


The rental price depends on the selected tariff (hour/day/week).


A deposit is required in case of damage or loss:


– Bicycle: €100–150


– E-bike: €300–500


The deposit may be pre-authorized on a card without an actual charge.

4. Use


The bicycle must be used only for its intended purpose and in accordance with traffic regulations.


It is prohibited to: transfer bicycles to third parties, carry passengers, or use the bicycle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.


The bicycle must be locked if left unattended.

5. Return


The bicycle must be returned at the agreed time and in the same technical condition as received.


Late returns are charged according to the agreed tariff.


A damaged or lost bicycle must be compensated by the renter in accordance with the tariff and insurance conditions.

6. Insurance


Our bicycles are insured against theft and accidental damage.


Coverage applies only if storage and usage rules are followed (e.g., the bicycle is locked).

7. Liability


The renter is responsible for the bicycle from the moment of pickup until return.


We are not responsible for injuries, traffic accidents, or damage caused to third parties during use.

8. Non-Return


If the bicycle is not returned at the agreed time, it is considered lost, and the renter must pay full compensation or forfeit the deposit.


If GPS tracking is installed, we may track the bicycle’s location to recover it.
